Scream Against Terrorism
Back in June we released "Waqar's Story", a chilling tale from Waqar Khalid who survived the 2009 Islamic University terrorist attacks in Islamabad. Since then, Waqar has teamed with other survivors in Pakistan to create , a campaign to spread their message of humanity and peace to university students throughout the region.
“Our purpose is to spread awareness about the miserable effects of terrorism and stimulate a change in the minds of the individuals to stand against all sorts of terrorism and extremism.” - Waqar Khalid
GSN works with Scream Against Terrorism to bring the foremost thought leaders, educators, and activists in Pakistan to universities throughout the country to screen films and incite dialogue about the role students can play in counterterrorism.
